Originally released on Flux of Pink Indian’s Spiderleg Records in 1984 and long out of print, this is an essential reissue of the anarcho-punk classic, that is right up there with landmark releases from Crass and Subhumans.
On original release, the album reched number 4 in the Indie Album Charts.
Antisect originally formed in 1982 and released just one studio album, In Darkness, There Is No Choice. Subsequent releases include a 7 inch single entitled Out From The Void, which is considered by many to be the birth of crust punk. A second album was on the cards called Welcome to the New Dark Ages, but this was never fully finished or released by the band, and thus In Darkness, There Is No Choice is the only known recorded evidence of Antisect’s short but ultimately influential legacy.
