DFA is releasing three vinyl 12-inch singles with extended original versions,plus a full-length CD that edits and compiles all six tracks. These six pieces ofmusic together comprise a narrative of clubbing and the long journey throughthe night and into the next day. On each track, Russom creates rich sonic landscapesusing minimal but intense arrangements and high-energy repetition.Russom, a Rhode Island native, now lives and works in Berlin. He has producedmany remixes recently, including a new single by Croatian techno artist Petar Dundov, one for New York’s avant garde duo Palms, and a remix featuredon the upcoming soundtrack for the remake of the movie Tron.
