V V Brown - Shark in the Water

Subject to much press attention for her startling looks, V V Brown backs up the image with this amazing contemporary but timeless soul record! Music has always been a massive part of V V‘s life. The Northampton born, London based artist, writes and produces all her own music. She made the Top 10 of the prestigious BBC Sounds ‘Poll’ of new artists to watch out for in 2009 and has been  performing live with the likes of The Ting Tings, Ladyhawke, Florence & The Machine and Antony & The Johnsons. V V first came to attention after landing an upfront slot on Later With Jools Holland. Her performance on the show won her a lot of admirers including Damon Albarn who invited her to perform on his Africa Exprez adventure in Lagos.
