That silly bald man who isn't me is playing Brett & Business lady's fave band The Lovely Eggs too loud as i'm trying to think of kind things to say about 'Reflect' by Response. Seems to me like a warm, twinkly semi-ambient journey full of hazy synths, cute motifs, pleasing harmonies & found sound, neo-classical passages married with spots of glitch. Track four sounds to me like Talk Talk, Track Five has some sweet chords flowing beneath another flurry of chirruping glitch, warm synths & a bit of a dream holiday vibe. It's quite old school electronica) Not bad.....Tracklisting:

As far as sound-a-likes go, I'm struggling a little bit. At various times it's vaguely reminiscent of tracks from Xela's Tangled Wool or The Boats' We Made It For You but somehow ends up sounding like neither of them. It's a fairly slow-paced, minimalistic affair but its simplicity is engaging (the 30 second samples really don't do it justice as the tracks are mostly slow burning, gentle builders that are just getting going).Definitely agree with the reviewer's holiday vibe comment - a great album to accompany an afternoon doze in the sunshine...
