'Angela' is Jarvis Cocker's proper rock single and it's well decent I reckon. I saw Jarvis perform this song on the Culture Show a while back, he was surrounded by bits paper with the lyrics scrawled on them and the band played like they'd literally just finished writing the track that day, full of energy and vitality! It was great! I'm not a Pulp fan or owt but it made a believer of me! B-side 'I Found Myself Looking For God' is really good too. The lyrics are hilarious and the track sounds well rough and psychedelic. I guess i should make a bit of time for the Jacko baiting king of brit-pop and check out the old back catalog. Ace single. Produced by Steve Albini??!?? Ok.Jarvis Cocker has announced details of the

solo album on Rough Trade, ‘Further
Complications’.
It will be available in the UK as a limited
edition 7” featuring the exclusive b-side ‘I
