Harmonic 313 AKA Mark Pritchard has his third 12" for Warp Out and it's 'Battlestar' Feat. Phat Kat & Elzhi. The track has been lifted from the recent album and appears here in both original and instrumental versions well as a remix and instrumental remix. It's an okay track but not really the finest moment on the album. If you're looking for some detroit inspired hip hop with futuristic production then you could do a lot worse. I mean I love hip hop/ rap but I just find that the vocals seem to smother the sci-fi electronics. The beats are booming though and I reckon the more adventurous hip hop DJ's could have a blast with two copies of the instrumentals.A strictly limited edition vinyl 12” featuring a new mix of
‘Battlestar’, a stand out cut of frenetic bass music from
Harmonic 313’s (aka Mark Pritchard) album ‘When Machines
Exceed Human Intelligence’.
Another spectacular Harmonic production, from the man behind
these acclaimed guises:
Link, Troubleman, NY Connection, William Parrott, and
Roberto Edwardo Turner (The Returner), Global
Communication, Jedi Knights, Harmonic 33, Use of
Weapons with Dave Brinkworth, Series 7 with Stephen
Horne, Shaft with Adrian Hughes, Vertigo with Daniel
Whidett (Danny Breaks), The 28 East Boyz with Kevin Hann,
Chaos & Julia Set with Dominic Fripp, Mystic Institute with
Paul Kent and Pulusha with Kirsty Hawkshaw.
‘Battlestar’ features the vocal talents of Phat Kat (who has
previously worked with J Dilla, Slum Village, Obie Trice) and
Elzhi.
This 12” is strictly limited to 400 copies in the UK.

agree that the original is a bit flat, but the remix is flucking brilliant!! worth it for the remix track alone
