Various (Sonic Youth, Philip Jeck, Angus Maclise, John Cage etc.) - An Anthology of Noise & Electronic Music 1

An Anthology of Noise & Electronic Music 1 by Various (Sonic Youth, Philip Jeck, Angus Maclise, John Cage etc.)

Sub Rosa's acclaimed anthology now available as TRIPLE VINYL / DELUXE TRIPLE GATEFOLD SLEEVE.
This 1st volume begins in the 1920s, with the Russolo brothers, and looks at each decade in turn - Varèse, Cage, Schaeffer, Xenakis, the great
pioneers- the first traces of a music that was revolutionary. Some pieces on this anthology are certainly classics, but there are others, which, though
old, were distributed informally or never released. The more contemporary pieces are, wherever possible, previously unreleased.
