Buraka Som Sistema - IC19 [ Mad Decent Remixes ]

Buraka Som Sistema have been championing the Kuduro sound of Angola (from their home base in Lisbon, Portugal) for the last few years, with big tunes- one featuring MIA- and a highly successful debut album under their belts. This is an officially commissioned set of Mad Decent remixes for the latest single off their ‘Black Diamond’ album. It features the original track plus three remixes from up and coming producers in the Mad Decent camp, all of whom have releases coming soon on the label. Cumbia don Toy Selectah’s remix slows it down to Cumbia levels with that signature hypnotic bounce and stretches to six minutes. Philly’s finest club producer DJ Sega does his part here with a banging club mix in typical Sega style. And then there’s Toadally Krossed Out, the mystery toadmasked guys from Wales - you will be hearing big things from them very soon, with some monster remixes coming for people like Major Lazer (aka Diplo and Switch)– and they might just have the best remix on here, truly mental!
