Pagan Wanderer Lu - Fight My Battles For Me

Fight My Battles For Me by Pagan Wanderer Lu

Pagan Wanderer Lu is a solo artist from Cardiff playing indie-pop with an electronic/experimental twist. The latest on a distinctly British songwriting trajectory charted by The Kinks, The Smiths, Pulp and Belle & Sebastian, PWL uses a menagerie of odd electronic instruments and effects like omnichord, kaos pad, monome and kaosillator to make his DIY pop sound both classic and intriguingly original. His new album, "Fight My Battles For Me", comes out on Brainlove Records, who also release Napoleon IIIrd and Keyboard Choir, and worked with Cats In Paris, Gay Against You, Capitol K, Misty's Big Adventure, Modernaire and many more. Pagan Wanderer Lu is a lo-fi anti hero who comes of age with this release. Lyrical twists, astute storytelling and super-catchy tunes combine to make ‘Fight My Battles For Me’ an underground classic in the making. Press / Radio : Plays and support from Huw Stephens on Radio 1, John Kennedy Xfm. Positive press from NME, Uncut, Plan b, Drowned in Sound, Bearded Magazine, Artrocker, Subba Cultcha, This Is Fake DIY. Huw Stephens - BBC Radio One / 'A warped genius, like Hans Christian Andersen as sung by Mark E Smith. A man with a musical brain quite unlike any other' Adam Walton, BBC Radio Wales / 'If, like us, you've got a soft spot for a bit of satirical genius backed by a damn good pop song, look no further
