OVERVIEW: Electro-pop situationists Sugar Crisis release debut single “We Are Here To Save You” through upstart indie label Weekender Records. Formed in continental Europe during the revolts of 1848 and then again in Scotland in 2007, Sugar Crisis are 23 year old Neil Brunton, vocals/keyboard and 24 year old Lorna Anthony, vocals/guitar/synth. Compared to Tilly and the Wall, Sugar wrap their wry social pop commentaries in synthetic and ecstatic songs that judo-hurl the listener down on their dessicated arse.
