Lasse Marhaug/ John Wiese - Split

Split by Lasse Marhaug/ John Wiese

4...according to our on Tue 05 May, 2009.

Noise super dudes Lasse Marhaug and John Wiese have got together for a dual assault on my already fragile senses with this new split 7" from A Dear Girl Called Wendy Records. It's a full on mash up of distortion heavy noise that brings to mind the likes of Birds of Prey, Royal Librarian and elements of the doom laden artists of Utech Records. This is harsh harsh HARSH!!! 'Two Hour Long Necropsy' is the sound of people being sucked out of a planes at high altitudes!!! 'Wobbles of Transition' is the sound you would hear if someone put yourself and box of bricks inside washing machine, set it to spin cycle then threw the machine off a cliff and into an industrial size shredding machine. It's proper harsh like that yo! And I like it. Over as sharply as it begins, this is no holds barred, improv noise at it's most severe and terrifying. Get in!!!

Beautiful new collaboration between John Wiese and Lasse Marhaug.
Two tracks of harsh and heavy noise for 10 minutes of music, recorded in Oslo in January 2008.

a: Two-Hour Long Necropsy (5:04)
