My Latest Novel - Deaths and Entrances

Deaths and Entrances by My Latest Novel

“Deaths and Entrances” is the sound of a band that have evolved and matured significantly since the release of their debut album in 2006… Whilst retaining many of the elements which made them so special first time round, My Latest Novel have become a far bolder and more confident outfit, developing a much fuller and more powerful sound over the past three years… ‘Deaths and Entrances’ consistently displays a remarkable inventiveness and artistry and is the sound of a supremely self-assured band hitting their stride.

‘Deaths and Entrances’, in the words of Gary Deveny of MLN…
“Deaths and Entrances was a title before it was an album – and a poem before it was a title… By Dylan Thomas… We loved how vast it was, and it seemed to sum up exactly what we wanted to do next. It gave us something to aim for. We wanted to “pull the thunderbolts, shut the sun, plunge, and mount our darkened keys”.

The Band have just announced news of numerous UK dates throughout May… A 7-date tour begins on 20th May, though in the week prior to release the band will also be performing at The Great Escape festival in Brighton and stopping off en-route for a headline show in Leeds.
My Latest Novel has also been invited by Huw Stephens to join the SWN Festival tour which takes place at the end of the month.
