Fever Fever - Keys In The Bowl/Stage Shoes

Keys In The Bowl/Stage Shoes by Fever Fever

4...according to our on Thu 04 Jun, 2009.

Fever Fever are a relatively new Norwich based outfit that have been causing quite a stir in their local scene. 'Keys in the bowl' is their first single proper and it's a right corker. A blasting punk rock single that sounds urgent riffs galore and amps cranked to eleven. I'm taken more by B-side 'Stage shoes' that boasts some tub-thumping drum action and some even bigger riffs. This is most definitely a confident first release from an emerging new band. The cover is pretty sweet too. YO!

Single on white vinyl. Cherryade is delighted to announce its 23rd release, the much-anticipated debut double A-side 7” single ‘Keys In The Bowl/Stage Shoes’ by Fever Fever. Since forming in 2007, this Norwich 3-piece have taken the ever-fertile Norwich music scene by storm with a series of incendiary live shows appearing alongside the likes of Bearsuit, The Brownies, The Joy Formidable, The Lovely Eggs, The Gresham Flyers, Ste Mccabe and Violet Violet. Since then they have been wowing audiences over the country and winning new fans wherever they go! In 2008 they appeared on We’re From Norwich vol. 4, the latest in the popular series released on Mummy Where’s The Milkman/Howlback Hum and contributed a track to Cherryade’s annual seasonal compilation, ‘A Very Cherry Christmas Vol.4’ and their self-released ep has been causing something of a stir, gaining them airplay from the likes of Radio 1’s Rob Da Bank, 6 Music’s Tom Robinson and XFM’s Jon Kennedy.
