Geeting a wee bit of an energy injection from this here Fedaden 'Verdad' 12" on Nacopajaz which begins with some sweet harpsichord type sounds then gets all emotionally dirty spitting out gnarly, growling emotive basslines and melodies that are reminiscent of Plaid. I dig the solid beats on the Kelpe remix and the way the use of the original sounds is tastefully twisted but totally faithfull to the original. The emphasis here is more of the bassline taking the lead role with the melodies adding a smart dreamy quality. It's one of those tracks that you can get down with at home but neatly slip into a DJ set at any given point and it'll do the job. Hey I just made a joke that Brett paid £300 for Bonnie Langford's leotard on eBay and he laughed in a weird kinda guilty way.The new EP " Verdad" announcing his new album to come in may 2009 is now out with Kelpe, Ghislain Poirier, aus, Vompleud remixes.
