Pork Sword Tobacco... Ahem sorry Porn Sword Tobacco have a split 3" CD with Downstate and it's one of those sweet Awkward Silence jobs, the likes of which we've not seen for a wee while. The PST stuff is ultra dreamy sounding with hints of dare I say it the Hauntological style. Did I really just say that? Oh what have I become, I'm going to punch myself in the face (with both fists).... Okay so now that I've given myself a good and well deserved hiding I'll proceed to inform you that the primitive electronic percussion of 'Autopal' coupled with the moody pianos's is a one way ticket to snoozeville (in a good way). Downstate's tracks are similar in their lovely downtempo vibes and fit in perfectly in this pairing. Lush melancholy electronics to sooth your wounded soul.Tracklisting:
