JACK BEAUREGARD is the musical duo of Daniel Schaub (vocals, guitar) originally from Cologne and Pär Lammers (Keyboards, Elektronica).
Naming themselves after a Spaghetti Western hero, their combination of folk and indietronics in a sleek and slinky way is just amazing: the acoustic and electronic bits and pieces just fit in so well, totally concentrating on the song. The debut album 'Everyone Is Having Fun' features twelve finely confectioned pieces of pure, sweet sugar, coated with a fine harsh glaze. For all their balladesque sweetness, every song holds a certain sarcastic-ironic twist. And for those who now still need some kind of musical references: Jack Beauregard sound as if Jose Gonzales, having just left Take That, had hooked up with Kraftwerk.
