I've just heard that Aaron Dilloway is playing in Leeds tomorrow. That's news to me. I never get to hear shit about anything these days. You'd think in this day and age of telecommunications a Wolf Eyes fan like me would have heard that was happening in my local area.... Hey what happened to OJ? Did they lock him up??? Anyway I like a bit of Aaron Dilloway stuff, you know Rotting Nepal, Beggar Master and that. He's done some interesing releases in his time. This 7" on Turgid Animal sounds like someones taken a Colleen record and twatted it to a zillion pieces then glued it back together and then played it under water while chewing on some swarf. It's not remotely harsh just lots of detailed ticking and tocking and weird metallic/glassy sounds. Bits of it sound like a droid clearing up some glass after loads of bots got wasted and started glassing each other. Then again 'Chain Balled' could have merely been created with chains (and/or balls). Reminds me a bit of somthing Dave Phillips would do. 'A Funeral With Music' is pretty fucking trashed sounding. Like a symphony of hoovers dying, taking their last suck of air. Then a big massive fat walrus comes and starts busting them up with its big flabby head. I'd like to go to London and set this Turgid Animal 7" on fire then shove it right up Zane Lowe's rectum. "Hey Zane THIS is the hottest record on the planet (scrotum face)."It's an honour to have former Wolf Eyes member Aaron Dilloway on our humble Turgid Animal label. Featuring two tracks of the dirty, pure tape manipulation and looping hell he is known for. Full colour covers by the man himself (similar to the "Chain Shot" LP artwork, as in GREAT!) Limited to 500 copies.
