Charlie Feathers - Liaison Field

Liaison Field by Charlie Feathers

Stunning compilation of singles/ b-sides from 1956 to 1958 on Sun and King Records for this unquestionable hero of country/rockabilly who also cut a single for Elvis Presley during his Sun Records period (I Forgot To Remember To Forget). Feathers had a long career, reinventing himself in the Seventies and the Eighties, and was the source of inspiration for a number of rockabilly revival bands. Who does not remember The Cramps' rendition of Can't Hardly Stand It or his collaboration with Tav Falco's Panther Burns? The glory Feathers deserves was epitomized in Quentin Tarantino's rediscovery of his classic tune That Certain Female for one of the epic scenes in the director's absolute masterpiece, Kill Bill.
