Here's a nice thing. It's a split six track 3" CD in a sort of cassette sized case albeit a bit thinner and less brittle by Millimetrik and Building Castles Out of Matchsticks. The former yes.... The latter, no I've not heard of 'em either. So you get two tracks by each artist and them remixing each other for a couple of tracks. There's your six tracks. It's great I have to say. It's out on the Sound In Silence label who did that Port Royal/Absent Without Leave split. The first couple of Millimetrik are some kick ass beaty electronica which really sound like no one else. He's a decent producer this guy you know. His remix on Around My Heart by Building Castles has the biggest crashing hip hop beat I've heard in ages. It's well smart. The Building Castles tracks follow a more Darla ish indie tronica approach. I like their tracks but not as much as the Millimetrik tracks which are outstanding. You need this sucker! The new sound in silence release is out now!
It’s a 3” split between millimetrik & building castles out of matchsticks and it’s called the attic ep.
The attic ep includes a total of 6 new tracks, 3 tracks per artist. In fact 2 new tracks from each artist and a remix that each one has done on a track of the other one.
It’s a very limited edition of 200 copies packaged in a mini dvd case.
