Zechs Marquise were formed in Texas by Marfred and Marcel Rodriguez-Lopez - the brothers of Omar Rodriguez-Lopez of The Mars Volta.
Named after a popular Japanese anime character, Zechs Marquise have toured the West Coast of the US constantly since forming, sharing the stage with such eclectic acts as Daedelus, Busdriver, The Album Leaf, (DJ) Nobody, Daddy Kev, The Gaslamp Killer and in 2008, Free Moral Agents & Blank Blue. Having sold out of their private pressing first album '34:26', the band released this their first full length album 'Our Delicate Stranded Nightmare' last year through Alpha Pup Records in the US. Now available in Europe for the first time on both CD and vinyl on Willie Anderson Recordings (who release their brother Omar's solo work over here). In March 2009 the band will tour Europe with the Omar Rodriguez Lopez group.
