The Scaramanga Six - Songs of Prey

Songs of Prey by The Scaramanga Six

West Yorkshire rock band THE SCARAMANGA SIX, led by the infamous Morricone Brothers, Steven and Paul, have been ploughing their stubborn furrow for well over a decade now - time has honed their powers to an almost ninja-like aural assault. 'Songs of Prey' is the band's fifth to be released, produced by James Kenosha (Duels, Grammatics, This Et Al, Pulled Apart By Horses). 12 astonishing songs and 2 incidental instrumentals make up this latest offering taking them into more contemporary post-rock leanings, as well as heightening the bombast and pomposity that fans of the band have come to know so well. Previous press: "Their tunes twist and turn with guitar eccentricities and lunatic Moog injections, and are as raw as scraping your knuckles on a cheese-grater - this is retro-rock with panache!" Rock Sound "B-movie chic combined with real musical muscle." Kerrang!
