Based in Leeds, Eureka Machines have played with bands as diverse as Leeds alt-punks Forward Russia, Britrock stalwarts The Wildhearts and indie-popsters The Rascals, as well as opening 'Rock Day' on the BBC Introducing Stage at the Reading and Leeds Festivals 2008.

The debut album DO OR DIE (Wrath Records, WRATHCD48 – ‘power pop perfection… a dazzling debut (4/5) – The Sun) was released on Yorkshire indie stalwart Wrath Records on October 1 2008 across the UK and Europe to favourable press reports (overleaf), and supported with a tour of the UK’s favourite toilets. And they've had airplay on BBC Radio 1, Radio 2, 6Music, XFM and, bizarrely, Radio Rock in Italy. Not bad for a band who’ve only been going a year.

Eureka Machines are releasing the single Everyone Loves You in May 2009, and are touring the UK again (dates overleaf). 2009 also brings gigs in Italy, Poland, Germany and Holland, as well as two more single releases from Do Or Die.

Eureka Machines also don't really like talking about themselves in the first person, and so we hope to see you at a gig soon.
