OVERVIEW: “The Future Will Come” will be released on 20th April via DFA Records.  The Juan Maclean’s second album will be their first with “Happy House” vocalist and LCD SOUNDYSTEM touring member Nancy Whang as a full time collaborator.  Nick Millhiser and Alex Frankel, both halves of the NY disco duo Holy Ghost! Also helped out, as did !!! drummer Jerry Fuchs. Fully-realized and flawlessly executed from start to finish, “The Future Will Come” stands poised to disarm millions of listeners
Following the release of their sublime second album – “The Future Will Come” – next month, THE JUAN MACLEAN will be visiting these shores for 2 London dates as well as shows in Manchester and Liverpool… As part of the Ether festival
A week after the album will see the release of the single “One Day”… The track comes with a fantastic set of remixes by the likes of Surkin, James Curd, Lazaro Casanova, Emperor Machine and Marc Romboy… Meanwhile, Juan is currently busying himself in the studio working on various remixes including the track “No You Girls Never Know” for Franz Ferdinand…
Its been nearly four years since THE JUAN MACLEAN dropped their glittering synth opus debut “Less Than Human” on us… Since then MacLean’s kept himself busy: DJing virtually every DFA event in New York and around the world, tours with the likes of Cut Copy, remixing folks like Daft Punk, Sally Shapiro and the Presets, and releasing a string of killer singles, including last year’s international mega hit “Happy House”… Now, a second Juan Maclean album – “THE FUTURE WILL COME” – is ready to go out into the world…
