The Hours follow their critically acclaimed 2007 debut album ‘Narcissus Road’ with the April 20th release of their second set ‘See The Light’ on Is Good Ltd. The album will be previewed by the release of the single ‘Big Black Hole’ .
With ‘See The Light’, The Hours have repeated the magic of the ‘Narcissus Road’ debut. Only this time, with the help of legendary producer Flood and a full band, and aided by the art, inspiration and (to be frank) dosh of old pal Damien Hirst, The Hours pair have created a bigger, bolder, better record. It’ll blow your ears off and blast your heart. It’s that good. The album was mixed by Cenzo Townshend (Kaiser Chiefs, Snow Patrol, Blur, U2).
Having made a brief return to the live circuit last year with dates as support to Oasis, a Little Voice gig as guests to Kasabian and a trio of intimate headline dates, plans are afoot for The Hours to embark upon more sustained touring around the release of ‘See The Light’.
Fronted by Antony Genn and Martin Slattery, the band’s line-up has now extended to a seven-piece and is completed by Andy Treacey, Mark Neary, Richard Lobb, Emily Dolan-Davies and Mike Moore
