A super twee slab of indie pop courtesy of Planet Earth, appearing to be in the vein of Belle and Sebastian or possibly early Beat Happening if i wanted to make it sound really ace. 'Bergman Movies' is not really ace but it is very nice and couldn't possibly offend anyone other than fans of the Southern Lord label, hard house or complete anti-music types. The music is fairly pedestrian and serves to highlight the Boy/girl vocal melodies that always lead in this type of music. The lyrics are insightful and amusing and will surely appeal to those who like their indie pop twee and purest.We have a new single out on Monday, Planet Earth's debut single,
produced by Charlie Fink of Noah & the Whale.
It is a limited edition 7" with artwork by Francois Marry.
