· Formed in Leeds (where they studied) the band bonded over an old ‘Marquee Moon’ cassette and
a desire to create a band both passionate and intelligent. Amongst other influences, the band cites
Talking Heads, Scott Walker, Jacques Brel, Motown and The Clash.
· They have shared stages with the likes of Thomas Tantrum, Pete And The Pirates, The
Rakes, and sold out two nights at London Barfly, gradually furthering their cause as one of the
country’s most exciting live bands.
· They were chosen as Zane Lowe’s Record Of The Week on Radio 1, won Steve Lamacq’s
Rebel Playlist, and have been featured on both 6 Music and XFM. Heavily tipped by the NME
with a full page Radar feature and two live reviews run and a lead album review confirmed.
