...according to our Phil on Thu 18 Feb, 2010.
That last Dakota Suite album was lush. So much so our Brett proclaimed himself as ecstatic about it and he rarely gets ecstatic about anything (unless it's about Rose....). I guess Machinefabriek, Peter Broderick, Jasper Leyland, Hauschka, Deaf Centre, Arve Henricksen, Greg Haines, Hannu, Tape, Swod, The Boats, Jacaszek, Loscil, Emmanuele Errante and Nick Hawley all loved it as well and they've all contributed to this remix project called The Night Just Keeps Coming In. It's brilliant as well. I've sat and listened to the whole thing and loved it from start to end. The artists (tend to) take the original goodness and add their own slant to it which is as much you'd expect from a remix project. But with such a caliber of artists you'd expect this to be one of the best things you'd hear in a while and you won't be disappointed!! I was totally floored by the Peter Broderick track and so far I've not quite got him.Tracklisting
