'Noi lavoriamo nelle tenebre' is by Italian composer/performer Salvatore Borrelli, otherwise known as ( e t r e ). Previous releases on Baskaru, Ruralfaune and Riz(h)ome Records have delt with free folk and post digital glitch, but here ( e t r e ) presents something different, more intimate. Constructed using lap steel guitar, contact and panoramic microphones, with laptop processing, this is surely Salvatore's darkest and most haunting work to date. The twenty minute piece is divided into four sections and is dedicated to the French writer, philosopher, and literary theorist, Marurice Blanchot. This 3" CDR comes with beautiful cover photography by the hugely talented Federica R, and is a limited edition of 76 hand numbered copies.
