rising singer/songwriter/producer V V Brown, has been featured in
practically all of the Tips for 09 features, releases her eagerly
awaited single “LEAVE !” on March 2nd through Island Records. V V, who
plays a one-off London date at Time Out’s On The Up Gig at The Barfly
in Camden on February 6th, has also been confirmed as special guest on
The Ting Tings forthcoming UK Tour, alongside label-mate Ladyhawke, in
what promises to be the hottest live ticket in town. See dates below.

V first came to attention after landing a slot on Later With Jools
Holland a month upfront of the release of the limited 7” vinyl “Crying
Blood”. The taster track won V V lots of admirers including Damon
Albarn who invited her to perform on his Africa Exprez adventure in
Lagos.
Her recent performance on ‘The Sunday Night Project’ caused
Alan Carr, Justin Lee Collins and guest presenter James Corden to dance
on the table to “Crying Blood”!
Indeed “Crying Blood” is to be
featured in the opening credits of James Corden and fellow Gavin &
Stacey star Matthew Horne’s upcoming film debut “Lesbian Vampire
Killers” which is due for release in cinemas on March 20th.
