Much better is the infamous Pansy Division and their Jello Biafra voiced single, 'Average Man'. It's got dirty growling/chiming punk riffs and drums like a towering cliff face headbutting you in the chest. It's also got the former Dead Kennedy's fabulous deranged sneer all over the top with some seriously cynical spot-on lyrics concerning dull minded jocks and bored macho jerks having a pop at 3AM. I wouldn't ever start on Jello, he's built like a brick shithouse isn't he? Also my friend Jo named her cat after him and he was the coolest, fattest, laziest hunk of purring love you could ever wish for.....EncycloBrett (tm) reckons they've half-inched a Misfits riff at some point......7" only on Alternative TentaclesA brand new 7" release, Pansy Division's first new material in 6 years. The A-side, "Average Men," features a vocal "duet" with Jello Biafra, and is a highlight from Pansy Division's forthcoming album That's So Gay. The B-side has PD covering the Green Day song "Coming Clean." It's been a favorite of the band since the mid '90s, when Pansy Division opened Green Day's first arena tour. The B-side is not included on the new album.
