Always a rare treat to get some Conrad Schnitzler audio, even more of a treat to get some vinyl. A box of wax has just landed from Qbico and out pop the 'Silver 1974/ 75' shows just how advanced this Tangerine Dream/ Cluster founder member's vision was. Even listening 35 years later the music sounds futuristic. Analogue synthesizers build up a simultaneously sparse and rich sound world with lots of bleeps and pulses. Some of the sounds do have a fantastic vintage quality to them and you can imagine them in an old science fiction movie. Not unlike prime period BBC Radiophonic Workshop material. Enough waffle from me... This is essential as far as I'm concerned so grab one while you can. The sleeve has someone in makeup looking a bit scary on it. Well freaky."Vintage Schnitzler, available here for the 1st time. this rec. from 1974/75
