I seem to have a vague recollection of reviewing a 7" on Cloudberry by The Felt Tips... erm yeah I did. So here they are with a 3 track 3 inch disc on WeePOP! Their sound is part McCarthy part Belle & Sebastian but they have a charm of their own. It's not overly twee like and is quite chirpy and fun. Light and breezy like a an acoustic fabric softener.I am envious of their happiness. I have no computer. The review I did of their last single was better than this review. The Felt Tips are Miguel, Andrew, Neil and Kev, and make the most exquisite uptempo winsome pop, led by Andrew's crooner style voice, confident and quirky, full of subtle nuance, and recalling stories of trips to London, romantic interludes and missed opportunities. This is their third release, following two wonderful singles on Cloudberry records.
