If you thought Boyracer and 555 Records had fucked off for good then you'd be hideously wrong as this week we have a handful of releases in by Boyracer and on the 555 label. Here's a split 7" by Boyracer with Que Possum on 555 in a screen printed sleeve with some big octopus thing on staring at me all limb like. Que Possum have a fast jangly sound which (to quote Brian) 'sounds like The Go Team in a blender'. It's certainly got that sort of energy but it doesn't have all the varying influences which The Go team would have. It's all terribly indie you see. As is the Boyracer side which sounds like they've been taking steroids and listening to Superchunk Records. Hey that's no bad thing, steroids rule. There's a Young Marble Giants cover on there as well factoids.Screenprinted glow-in-the-dark-sleeve.
