Got a new double pack 12" on Planet Mu by Sum One. It's a 4 track job so it's a real good cut. I just played the CDr promo and then the vinyl and the vinyl does sound sweet. 'Oblivion' is a slow mystical electro space dub journey. Deep and hypnotic so it does the job. 'Hide Your Faces' is also pretty spaced out with the odd processed Jamaican vocal and uptempo metallic percussion but it's a slow heavy groove. The vibe throughout is dark and atmospheric making me imagine a smokey dancehall. 'Hell Is' is an eerie number with ghostly processed vocals and thumping kick drums and manic hi-hats. Then a thick doomy bassline enters the mix. Spooky shit...I'd call this track Horror-step but then I'd sound like a tool.2x12" Tracklist
