We got another one of those 10"s on Fence Records offshoot De-Fence.... Slight distraction.. erm the new Razor Light LP has arrived and we've collectively gathered around it for a mocking of the sleeve. That idiot singer is wearing a pearl necklace on there. I kid you not.... Anyway back to the 10" and its very nice indeed. This is a split between Seven Sang and Love Stop Repeat. Seven sang is a chap called Michael Savage who apparently is a children's social worker bless him. He's also made some very pretty electronic tracks with vocals. The songs are very sweet and remind us occasionally of Thom Yorke. Love Stop Repeat's side sounds familiar to me. Probably because it was playing the other day and I didn't realize what it was. The female vocals are lovely as are the synths. This is good honest atmospheric late night pop music. For me this is the best 10" in this series so far.Tracks!

Seven Sang...
"Seven Sang is the music project of Michael Savage, children's social worker by day and music producer by night!
Having developed a style through playing solo at acoustic nights throughout London, as well as numerous gigs with Barbarossa, the third Seven Sang EP has recently been completed, to be released by De-Fence records.
Michael has now started work on the first full length Seven Sang album".

"In an alternate reality, Dave Con Brio carves soundscapes and adventures out of discarded sentiment and unused time (of which he finds plenty). Back in the real world, Lindsay renders audiences helpless with touching song and haunting beauty.
Many moons ago, under cover of darkness, Dave crept his way into Lindsay's band in an attempt to bring her powers crashing down with the force of his fearsome drumming. However, Lindsay was too strong; Dave failed, but in the wake, like a phoenix from the ashes, rises....
