Pure Imperial Reform by Skullflower

I'm chuffed to land another Skullflower album to rinse my head into the new year. Matt Bower seems to have been particularly prolific over the last 18 months or so what with the brilliant 'Taste The Blood Of The Deceiver' LP, The apocalyptic menace of 'Desire For A Holy War' and now 'Pure Imperial Reform'. Like the previous record Bower is joined by Lee Stokoe (Culver) for this brain pulverizing set recorded for a radio show in Antwerpen. The chaps crank it up with gargantuan walls of sound, abrasive feedback and noise that sounds like it's being broadcast from the bowels of hell. The overall sound quality is outstanding and crystal clear. Nothing gets too murky... its all pure clarity. Immensely powerful stuff that you'll absorb with pleasure if you've been digging the recent Skullflower material. On Turgid Animal.

New Skullflower CD now available on Turgid Animal Records. Recorded last year live on an Antwerpen radio station comes this new guitar wall "composition" from Matthew Bower and Lee Stokoe. This is a real CD (a first for Turgid Animal) limited to 1000 copies with artwork desinged by MB himself and pro-printed on quality grey paper in standard jewel cases. This is a seriously solid release and is for fans of modern Skullflower recordings and anyone who just loves a good harsh racket!
