Anyhoo here's a compilation CD called Series One Remixes on Distant Noise Records. It's one of those limited to 100 jobs and this one features tracks from the 1st 12 releases remixed by their peers (ie the munters who've had releases out on Distant Noise this year). I struggled to explain that one and really you'd just need to see the track listing for it all to be clear. I'm far too stupid to explain further so I won't bother. On here there's tracks and remixes by Televise, Jessica Bailiff, Schengen, Absent without Leave, Yellow 6, Luga etc and it's a thoroughly enjoyable listen. As ever the remixes take on the sounds of their owners rather than the original song itself but that's always nice to hear a different slant on something you liked. Fans Of Make Mine Music etc will like this album....This has been a really strong series and it's a fitting way to finish it off. Smashing!!Click on the pic for a full track listing!!
