...according to our Brett on Fri 12 Dec, 2008.
Little Boots is apparently the new hot shit in town and she's decided to pull a bit of an odd maneuver by making her debut release proper (a white label came out a little while back it seems) a remix 12". Alexander Robotnik remixes 'Stuck on Repeat' which is a housed-up electropop tune that's fairly shiny in a Balearic/Italo sort of way.. Everyone thought this was shit yesterday but it seems to be getting a better reaction now; personally I think it's a perfectly servicable bit of cheesy dancefloor fodder, all mirrorballs and shallow sexuality. Nothing wrong with that in the right context.. On the other side wonky dubstep bloke Joker dirties up 'Meddle' (well, I'm just guessing since none of us have heard the originals or anything) to fairly tame effect, although the chiptune sounds do complement the 80s disco feel quite nicely. So, yeah.TRACKLISTING: A) Stuck On Repeat (Alexander Robotnik Remix), AA) Meddle (Joker Mix),
