La Roux - Quicksand

· La Roux aka Elly Jackson is 20 years old and
spends her weekends in London warehouse
parties whilst her creative waters are stirred by
the original electro chart pioneers Eurythmics
and Depeche Mode.
· Helped by her producer Ben Langmaid, the
result is a spread of tracks where a timeless
electronic utopia and a noughties’ head-nod
danceability is underpinned by a classic sense
of songwriting and a painstaking way with
words.
· The EP brings along three exciting remixes from
Australian DJ Beni (ex Riot in Belgium),
AutoKratz and high-profile French band
Chateau Marmont.
