Flobots are to release 'Rise' as their third single from their critically acclaimed debut album 'Fight With Tools'. The single will be release on CD and download from 1st December.
This single is the follow up to the massive hit single 'Handlebars' that was heavily supported and adoped very early on by Radio 1 and Zane Lowe in particular. 'Handlebars' has gone on to sell more than 70,000 singles in the UK since it's release and has gone platinum (over 1,000,000 sales) in the US.
The track is a call to arms to all people to come together and work for a better future, an altogeher prescient sentiment in light of the speeches of US President elect Barack Obama, whom Flobots have been staunch supporters of. The track has been used as the soundtrack for election coverage both in the US and here in the UK.
