It's good to know Oasis are still around producing brilliant records. Only I wish they were. With each album comes the anticipation that they may pull it off again but each album gets more and more lackluster to the point where they make me feel like I'm dead inside. I was quite excited to listen to their new single (I do it to myself on every one their release) 'I'm Outta Time'. Somehow they've managed to pull off the dreariest tune of their career which sounds like a Travelling Wilbury's B side. It's one of their slower paced plodding numbers (I suppose they all plod but this one PLODS in capital letters). It's also good to know they're hip with the times and they've managed to get Jagz Kooner to remix their last single on the B side. Those crazy hipcats... what will they do next? I used to quite like Oasis but this new single is absolutely awful and it makes me want to disfigure myself with massive hammers. Absolute cocks.

· ‘I’m Outta Time’ is the new single from Oasis, rounding up another extraordinary year for
the band. Released on the band’s own Big Brother label worldwide, and taken from ‘Dig Out
Your Soul’, the band’s first album in over a decade to reach the USA Top 5 as well as charting
in the top 5 throughout the world. The band recently announced their biggest UK tour yet for
2009 as part of their 14 month world tour; the majority of the stadium ‘super gigs’ planned for
June and July sold out within a day, breaking box office records in the process.
· ‘I’m Outta Time’ is one of three Liam Gallagher compositions on ‘Dig Out Your Soul’, a
beautiful piano led ballad of devastating simplicity, which has been heralded as one of the
album’s stand out tracks; “Plastic Ono Band era Lennon, with a sweetly sung chorus that
displays Liam’s vulnerable side” - Clash Magazine.
· The single comes in various formats, including two collectors’ edition 7” singles and
remixes which feature an exclusive remix of ‘I’m Outta Time’ by Marilyn Manson bassist
Twiggy with Dave Sardy, as well as remixes of album tracks by Neon Neon and Jagz
Kooner.
· Oasis are currently on a sold out arena tour of the UK, including two shows at Wembley Arena
and a very special Electric Proms performance for the BBC at London’s Roundhouse with the
50 strong Crouch End Choir. Their stadium shows next year will include three nights at
Wembley Stadium as well as three at Manchester’s Heaton Park following the complete sell out
of the first two nights in each city. Extra special guests include Kasabian and The Enemy.
