You have never heard anything that sounds quite like Ropechain: Holy fear, schizophrenic inspiration, baroque pop references, deep, mystical love... The record drags you into an obsessive cycle of listening and re-listening.

There's a good reason why those who have heard this record are calling it one of their albums of the year, and yet it is almost incomparable to anything else 2008 has produced simply by standing so far away from the crowd it is forming it's own gang. How can one not marvel at lyrics such as "I Love You Love You / You Know I Love You I Love You / I Took Mushrooms And Then Proposed To You Because I Love You Love You".
