Beck is back on the promotion train with a brand new single 'Gamma Ray'. It's released on 2 x 7"'s. One has a brand new track on the B side and the other one has a Jay Reatard version (so it's more like a split 7") on. I've always had a soft spot for Beck since he blew me off (oh. I mean away....) at the Leeds Festival some years away. I can't think of much he's done I've not liked to be honest. Gamma Ray is another catchy pop tune which has it's 60's pop hooks in me already. The beat sounds a bit like something Outkast one day is one of their more fun moments. I like the 60's spy sounds in there as well.
