Not heard Howling Bells before. 'Into the Chaos' is their new 7". They're from Australia I think. They sound a bit like The audience. Bit more epic though. Guitars and woman voice and drums. I'm VERY tired.· Ever since they released their eponymous debut album in 2006, critics have been
left swooning in their wake, with the NME ranking it as one of the top 20 albums
of the year, and influential sites like Drowned In Sound and OMH Music
ranking it in their top three.
· From Joel Stein and Brendan Picchio’s two-pronged attack of razor sharp guitar
and bass, to Glenn Moule’s vicious drum assault, to Juanita Stein’s barely
contained hunger and hysteria, to the band’s darkly romantic sass and strut, they
brought a certain danger, knife-edge thrill and a gorgeous, glittering gloom back to
good old fashioned rock and roll, and for that we should be eternally grateful.
· To whet fans’ appetites, the band is releasing a scintillating taster through
Independiente in November. The first release to be taken from their eagerly
awaited second LP, ‘Into the Chaos’ is a dramatic, filmic wall of dizzying strings
and widescreen production that boosts the Bells’ sound to hitherto unexplored
heights.
· To coincide with the release of ‘Into the Chaos’, the band take their show onto
the road through Europe and the UK in November, along with thee maestros of
beautiful but ever so slightly unhinged psych-rock Mercury Rev.

This track moves and glides like a vintage Bond film. Reminds me of martinis and private jets, disco lights and for some strange reason Blur!??Dramatic in all the best ways possible.
