Santa's Coming Over by Low

5...according to our on Fri 31 Oct, 2008.

Low are back with a brand new Christmas flavoured 7". They're no stranger to seasonal releases as the Christmas mini album they did sold bucketloads and eventually got used on a Gap advert so you're probably reasonably familiar with that one. Santa's Coming Over is a dirgey anti Christmas anthem for the evil santa from Futurama (you've been very naughty...). It's kind of dark and miserable but that's what you'd expect from Low. Certainly not chirpy like some of the tracks from the last album.... big forboding drums and Santa's Coming Over chanted over it makes me feel all festive. I'm off to do some xmas shopping. I'll check the B side first.... Hang on Low have gone to Jamaica and done a reggae tune called 'The Coming Of Jah'. I've not heard mormons doing reggae before so I feel like I'm learning something here. It kind of works. It's surprisingly jolly and a complete polar opposite to the darkness of the A side. Limited 7" with two Exclusive tracks in great white on white sleeve printing... includes download code as well. Fucking genius... Phil x

Limited Xmas single from Low. Two exclusive tracks.
