Here's a compilation CD of experimental music from Washington DC. If you don't know where that is it's in America and it's where a lot of elected important people hang out and make decisions which effect people all over the world. While all this important decisions making is going on a bunch of experimental musicians in Washington had a festival called 'Sonic Circuits' and here's a CD called 'District of Noise' which we've got some of to promote said festival. Though said festival has been and gone now... if you missed it then you can console yourself with some remarkable experimental sounds on offer.. Some noise... some electronica.. some sordid jazz skronk, weird noises and general strangeness afoot. The 17 tracks on offer are deffo for the more experimental folks amonsgt you though it sounds pretty high quality I have to say! The only artist I've heard of is BLK w/BEAR who had a CD out with Rothko a while back. Aside form that the Blue Sausage Infant (honest...) track is amazingly good.... well harsh and not really like anything else I've heard.
