The Doozer - Conversations/Stone Houses

‘Conversations’ / ‘Stone Houses’ double A-side single is mixed and mastered by KRAMER and is the first single by THE DOOZER following the acclaimed ‘Sheet Music’ album released on PICKLED EGG RECORDS in April 2008.  All instruments performed by The Doozer to make a kaleidoscopic sound of psych pop filtered through South East Asian and homeland sounds. After a year of conversing with KRAMER, THE DOOZER sent tracks for him to add his voodoo too. KRAMER noted that ‘This music is just killing me, it’s so fucking good’ and his production has added his special shimmer to The Doozer’s sound. ‘Weirdness levels are ramped up to eleven – not least due to some initially jarring chord sequences – and pastoral psychedelia reigns in this not unlovely debut.’ PLAN B.‘What we have here is an introspective pop album bathed in seductive psychedelia, blurry images of the British countryside, unexpected loops and hazy soundscapes.’ BROKEN FACE.
