Fujiya & Miyagi
Pickpocket

This record left our Phil feeling happy.
We liked that last Fujiya & Miyagi single here. So much so we gave it single of the week what with it's cheeky pop hooks and it's saucy lyrics. Pickpocket is another catchy effort with pop hooks and a sparse feel about it. Its just a simple groove really with someone talking about pickpocketing. Pleasant enough pop with a bassline that sounds like it's from a Cure song though we can't remember which one it is. Some nice finger clicking in it which is always a treat to the ears. 'Why do you do what you do when you know you shouldn't put your hands into other people's pockets' they ask? if anyone goes near Brian's pockts they'll have a shock. A complete antidote to 'You've got to pick a poctet or two' by Oliver's Fagin.
