Why, what marvelous packing on this Champagne Diamond/The Brilliant Light split CD on Kaleidoscope. Whack the CD on and you'll be greeted with watery acoustic shimmers, interesting mountain top indie-folk in an almost Fleet Foxes style, rabble-rousing rockers like Glasvegas gone experimental and My Bloody Valentine-esque feedback droneouts.. And that's just the first side! Many bases covered here and it all sounds like pretty good stuff to my ears.. This rather nice package is limited to some copies copies so get your boogie on like Jonathan 'The Skanky Rat' Davis. Housed in a 7" sleeve for your funkmasters....BRAND NEW and eponymous LP by Robin Watkins and Nina Canell, the people who brought you LUFTKLUSTER/ LUFTFLUKS (2006, see 'We Pulled The Roots' from CF Comp 1) and THE NEW HEAT/ OBSCURED BY LIGHT (2005). 9 tracks, 12" and a beautiful shimmering gatefold sleeve.
