Ooooooohhhhh I didn't know a new release on Unlabel had arrived. Behold a CD by Death Of London 'Here's To The Death Of London'. These fellows had a track on the recent Unlaut compilation on the label. Blimey it's a right old chugging alt rock riff-athon. 3 tracks in and I'm quite getting into this EP. The production is full fat and meaty. 'Fire Of London' reminds Phil of Unsane. I particularly like the rigid song structures that still manage to be dynamic. A real tight bunch of chaps we have here and you just know they'd kick ass live. 'FORE!' is a blast of heavy upbeat rock action with tumbling drums having the shit belted out of them. 'Keys To The Zoo' slows things down but retains the heavyness. Some cool jagged repetition and snare rolls. 5 tracks straight to the point and worthy of tearing up the speakers on your home system. Ltd to 200 copies.

// deATH of LONdon’s debut EP is available now on Unlabel and has Certain people in Certain quarters already very, very exCited. the 5 traCk, 9 minute and 5 seCond EP, just begins to attempt to showCase the multiple personalities and the outlandish musical ambitions of these mysterious men //

// ranging from the all out riffage of 'sex for dinner, death for breakfast', the sChizophreniC musiCal attack of 'FORE!' and the noisy pop sensibilities of 'Keys To The Zoo', this grandiose, relentless, ColleCtion of traCks should see them set up as your new favourite roCk band pretty soon //
